Her style of work is conventionally minimalist yet equally adaptable to various styles. She is a bit of a chameleon in her graphic aesthetic. She maintains a healthy balance between functionality and visual impact in all her work with a goal to design and develop experiences that make people’s lives simple and believes every piece of design can be a work of art. 

Iqra is a graduate of New Jersey City University, having majored in Graphic Design. She has spent the past 10 years working for various industries such as healthcare, restaurants, sports, entertainment, and education. She has worked as part of a collaborative team, independently and led teams for both B2B and B2C focused companies.

Having started her career as a Graphic Designer, Iqra noticed misalignments in design strategies. She often found herself designing just to get a design created, instead of there being a plan behind the design from the conception of a project. This is where her passion for creating great design experiences transitioned into creating inclusive design strategies.

When she’s not working or judging designs, she loves staying creative by dabbling in other forms of art and buying books that she says she’s going to read. Growing up she was always told ‘leave a place better than how you found it’, this has stuck with her as she tries to implement this in all aspects of her life.
